The City Hotel Nieuw Minerva team is happy to assist you. We want to make your stay as pleasant as possible and meet your expectations and wishes. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We like to help you!

Checking in
Your room is available from 3 p.m. If you arrive earlier and your room is not ready yet, you can leave your luggage at the Front Desk. Check-in is possible 24 hours a day.

Checking out
We kindly request you to leave your room before 11 am. If you want to check out later, please inquire at the Front Desk before 6 p.m. on the evening before your check-out if this is possible.

Breakfast
We serve a continental breakfast buffet. This breakfast consists of various types of bread and spreads, biscuits, crackers, milk, juices, boiled eggs, coffee and tea.

Location - Parking
The hotel is located in the heart of Leiden within walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums, theater and Leiden Central Station.  Keukenhof and the beaches of Katwijk and Noordwijk are just around the corner.

We advise you to park your car at Haagweg Parking as street parking is not possible in Leiden.
Haagweg Parking is approximately 800 meters from the hotel, is available 24/7 and offers a free shuttle service that will take you to our door and pick you up again. You can buy your exit ticket at our Front Desk.

There is a public dock for boats in the canal in front of the hotel. Reservations are not possible.

Historical building
The building consists of six canal houses from the 16th century. The historic character is reflected in the unique layout of each room, and in the authentic character of the stairs and corridors that connect the buildings.

Our hotel does not have a lift. We have one room on the ground floor, at the rear side of the hotel. If you would like to reserve this room, or any other specific room, please contact our Front Desk when you are making your reservation.

Internet access and WiFi
Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

Reservation
We need your credit card details to guarantee your reservation. We will only charge your card in advance if you book a room rate that has direct payment as condition.
If we do not have a deposit or credit card number and expiry date then your room is not guaranteed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your card.

Cancellation policy
An individual booking for a hotel room can be canceled free of charge until 5 p.m. on the day before the arrival date. If you fail to cancel and you do not check in, your credit card will be charged for the first night.
Different cancellation conditions apply to groups in accordance with the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland. The UVH are binding.

Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Maestro. Payment in cash is also possible.
Payment by invoice is only possible if this has been agreed upon with you in writing no later than 7 days before arrival. The invoice must be paid within 14 days after check-out.

Terms and Conditions
The uniform conditions of the Dutch Horeca Federation apply to all agreements with Hotel Nieuw Minerva. These Conditions are binding for everyone using our services.
