City Hotel Nieuw Minerva was founded in 1946 from a small local pub. This pub was located in what is now the hotel's Breakfast Room. This space was home to a beer brewery until the end of the 19th century.

Over the years, the adjoining buildings have been added to the hotel, and today the hotel has 35 rooms in 6 interconnected canal houses.
The historic buildings all have their own history and the design of the rooms fits in beautifully with this. Naturally, the rooms are equipped with all the modern comforts you would expect in a 3-star hotel.

In addition to the hotel rooms, there is an attractive hotel bar with a striking wall of plates.
The meeting room has a characterful authentic Delft blue fireplace, hence the name of the room: the Blue Room.
